About the Journal

The Gepros Journal is an academic periodical published electronically by the Department of Production Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Bauru Campus. Since its establishment in 2005, the journal has been dedicated to meeting the needs of professors, researchers, postgraduate students, undergraduate students, professionals, and individuals interested in the field of Production Engineering and related areas. The Gepros Journal has been evaluated as B4 in the field of Engineering III, according to the 2020 update of the Qualis stratum in the Sucupira Platform.

The objective of the Gepros Journal is to disseminate world-class knowledge in the field of Production Engineering, contributing to the advancement of the state of the art in the topics covered. Additionally, the journal seeks to promote the development and modernization of society, having intrinsic practical value. To achieve these objectives, the Gepros Journal is committed to maintaining an agile and efficient system for evaluating submitted articles, following rigorous national and international standards of academic arbitration.

The Gepros Journal aims to communicate the initial editorial decision to the authors within 90 days after the submission of the article. This commitment is an integral part of the process of aligning the journal with international standards of editorial quality practiced by journals already indexed in highly reputable scientific databases such as Redalyc, ProQuest, Ebsco, and Latindex.

We invite authors in the field of Production Engineering and related areas to submit their articles to the Gepros Journal, a periodical that combines open access to its content, high academic rigor, and real practical value to society.
