Abstract

This paper presents features and results of tests on implants and components with internal conical connections. It describes the main features of the system: its differences in relation to the conventional system and information regarding the product concept. The finite elements method was used as a design validation tool, together with experimental testing. The surface of the implants was characterized by electron microscopy. Keywords: Dental implants; Morse taper, Treated surfaces; Resistor implants.
